Epiphany - We Care: A ministry established to provide short-term urgent assistance for those parishioners that are in need. Being involved may include transporting persons to appointments, running errands, providing assistance in simple household repairs, or preparing/delivering a meal.

Faith Community Nurse Program: This program at Epiphany is in partnership with Mercy and Unity Hospitals. It provides support to individual and families in the area of health and healing. It combines faith and health care that benefits the (patients) parishioners, faith communities and nurses. The Parish Nurse’s objective is to serve as a health care advocate for parishioners using basic nursing and faith knowledge to promote wellness of mind, body, and spirit. The emphasis is on the care of the person, recognizing there can be healing in the absence of a cure. Contact Diane at dsibley@epiphanymn.org.

Food Shelf: Epiphany Food shelf meets the needs of both parishioners and Anoka County Community Emergency Action Program (CEAP) referrals.

Funeral Service Ministry: Members of this ministry serve and create a warm and loving lunch service at the time of a funeral. They are called to set tables, serve food and beverages, and provide clean up following the luncheon.

Funeral Food Ministry: Volunteers are needed to donate salads, cakes, and rolls to serve at funeral lunches. Phone callers contact families for the food.

Meals on Wheels: This ministry delivers hot noon meals to the elderly and shut-ins of the community. The Church of Epiphany drives twelve weeks a year.

North Metro Job Network: Are you unemployed or looking for a new job? You can help the unemployed by becoming a corporate contact person who is willing to forward openings to the group from your company. Your contact information is protected and remains confidential at all times.

Communion Ministry: Eucharistic Ministers bring communion to the homebound, hospitals, nursing homes, and the Epiphany Assisted Living.

Divorced and Separated Support Group: This group promotes personal growth and proper attitude within self, allowing forgiveness and emotional healing both during and after divorce.

Domestic and Emotional Abuse: Epiphany has a direct domestic abuse hotline: 763-862-4365. This number is published in the weekly bulletin and messages are checked daily. There are individuals trained to listen to people who have been abused and want to change their lives in this area.

Domestic Abuse: The Domestic Abuse organization is a confidential nondenominational support group for women experiencing emotional and/or physical abuse. This group extends their support and love to abused women in our community and offers community resources to women to assist them in their journey and healing. The group meets Sunday evenings in the Hearth Room from 7 to 8:30 PM.

Grief and Loss Support: This group seeks to support each other in their grief after the loss of a loved one. People may come as many times as they wish.

Repsect Life/Social Justice: This committee shares a foundational belief in the dignity of the human person and the sanctity of all life. Using Scripture, we educate our parish in an understanding of justice and involvement in life issues. As we grow, we reach out to the community and serve as a catalyst for positive social change.

Birthright: Birthright, a pro-life organization, provides caring support for women who are experiencing a crisis pregnancy. The group provides pregnancy tests, referrals for food, medical assistance, and other provisions that are needed.

Caring for Life: Epiphany Caring for Life ( ECL) offers personal support, resources and information to women experiencing unplanned or difficult pregnancies. The goal is to enable them to choose life. Angels Wings, a part of ECL, offers miscarriage support. Stewards staff the 24-hour hotline : 612-803-2225.

JustFaith: JustFaith strives to provide faith formation processes and resources that emphasize the Gospel message of peace and justice. The aim of JustFaith is to enable people of faith to develop a passion for justice and express this passion in acts of social ministry.

Sobriety Sisters - AA: Sobriety Sisters AA is an all women’s Alcoholics Anonymous Group and a “Big Book” study group. Any woman who has a desire to stop drinking alcohol or stop using mood-altering drugs is invited to this group.

Street People Ministry: Street People Ministry is a great opportunity to bring some happiness to the homeless at Sharing & Caring Hands by showing compassions, socializing, and extending a helping hand to them. Over 350 street people are served a hot meal through this program.

Thanksgiving/Christmas Baskets: Epiphany Thanksgiving/Christmas Basket Program meets the holiday needs of both parishioners and Anoka County CEAP referrals. Parishioners are encouraged to drop off food items.

Outreach Fund: The Outreach Fund’s objective is to recognize that Epiphany is part of the global Church and many needs extend beyond our parish boundaries.
