The Pastoral Care and Outreach Commission is about what we do, how we do it, and who we are as an organization. What we do: Our mission is to be the advocate for the ministries that we represent at the Church of the Epiphany. Our mission statement affirms this commitment: The Pastoral Care and Outreach Commission (PC&OC) affirms the God-given dignity of all persons by facilitating the Church of Epiphany’s charity and justice ministries. The commission nurtures and advocates parish activities that focuses on providing physical, emotional and spiritual support to others, especially during times of uncertainty, difficulty or pain. We strive for the continued development of a compassionate faith community by creating awareness and opportunities in our parish to serve. We recognize that God is revealed through all persons; therefore, we encourage participation in service to the disadvantaged and vulnerable of the parish and community. How we do it: We work responsibly in our duties to the commission and to the Church of Epiphany. As stewards of our commission, we will collaborate with our ministries and with others to address issues and find solutions. We will promote and assist our ministries on the basis of providing the best available information to our community, from improving communication of our ministries to expanding the services we represent. Who we are: We work hard to maintain a culture of responsibility and compassion. We hold ourselves to high ethical standards and take pride in our own commitment to volunteerism and giving. We are members of Epiphany and our community. Current Commission Members:
