BaptismsIn May we will resume our regular schedule of baptism – baptizing following the 12:15 Sunday Mass each weekend – except on SpringFest weekend, which is May 22/23 – so no baptisms on May 23. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Baptism for infants and young children to grade 2 are held each week at Epiphany, except during Lent and SpringFest weekend, following the Sunday 12:15 Mass. Please plan to attend one pre-baptism class which is held the first Saturday of each month in the hearth room from 10:30 – 11:45 a.m. (Changed to second week for some holidays). We ask that at least one parent be a registered parishioner here at Epiphany. If you have attended a class within the last three years you do not have to repeat it. You do not have to register for the class. We encourage both parents to attend, but, if needed, only one needs to participate. If your child is seven years or older or if you have questions, please contact Katie Gebhard at either 763.862.4335 or kgebhard@epiphanymn.org.Here is the upcoming schedule of pre-baptism classes:
Registering to have your child baptized is as easy as filling out the baptism form. All children are accepted - we do not have any limit to how many babies can be baptized each week. Please be sure to have your form into the parish office no later than Wednesday of the week you want the baptism. Please note that one godparent need to be a confirmed, practicing Catholic, and you can only hve one male, one female. This is according to Canon Law and not a policy that can be changed. A copy of the birth certificate of the child to be baptized must accompany the baptismal information form. Please send the completed form to Libby at: Epiphany Church
