Planning a Funeral at Epiphany

When a loved one has passed away the Epiphany clergy and staff are here to help you with the details of planning the funeral and burial. We work with the funeral home and the family to best accomodate the wishes of the deceased and of the family. To secure the church for a funeral please call Libby at 763.862.4363. Once the date and time has been established then a planning meeting can be set up with the priest that will be presiding.

At the planning meeting the liturgy will be discussed. Music and readings will be selected. We have sheets with suggestions to help you do this. This is also the time to talk about participants in the funeral - will family members or friends do the readings or bring up the gifts at the Mass, and what are the names of the pallbearers?

Epiphany also offers a lunch after each funeral, and this is at no charge to the family. The good stewards of Epiphany generously share their salads, hotdishes, and cakes to make sure that everyone attending the funeral is able to gather with the family after the funeral and enjoy some Epiphany hospitality.

To make funeral arrangements please call Libby at 763.862.4363.
