E3:MS Mission Statement

e3-ms-logo“Rooted in Christ, shaped by the Gospel, and sustained by prayer, Epiphany Middle School Youth Ministry invites teens to draw near to the person of Jesus Christ through relationships, prayer, the Sacraments, catechesis, and service.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Why the name "E3"?

The “E” of the Youth Ministry name refers primarily to our parish, the Church of the Epiphany, which forms us in community and continuously draws us deeper into the Universal Church. The number “3” refers to the three signs of the Epiphany: visit of the Magi, the Baptism of the Lord, and the Wedding Feast at Cana. Like these three signs of God’s power in the life of Christ, we want our youth to know the power of God in their own lives.

Is this Faith Formation?

No. Middle School Faith Formation occurs on Wednesday evenings and more information can be found on the Middle School Faith Formation page.

E3 MS is for all middle school youth, regardless of whether or not they are in Faith Formation or attend Epiphany Catholic School.  E3 MS encourages middle school teens to encounter a relationship with God whether this means sustaining, building, and reinforcing an already solid foundation or helping them navigate a relationship that is brand new to them. This includes retreats, Middle School Nights, service opportunities, and much more.

Can my middle schooler bring friends?

Heck yeah! We would love for you to bring friends. Some events do require registration; however, our E3 Middle School Nights are perfect to bring friends to!

How can adults get involved?

We have an adult E3 Core Team who works with the Middle School Youth Minister to plan and put on our monthly E3 youth nights. Other retreats and trips require the help of adult chaperones.  We welcome others who have a passion for sharing Christ with the youth of our parish.

Monthly E3 Youth Nights

E3: MS nights are held on one Sunday evening of every month, October-May from 6:45 – 8:15 pmFree,  no need to register. Friends are always welcome!

Led by the Middle School Youth Minister and the adult and high school Core Team, E3: MS nights provide time for socializing, large group speakers, praise & worship, Adoration, and more.

Small groups enable the teens to cultivate deep friendships, seek opportunities to grow in understanding of the Catholic faith, and challenge and support one another to grow in holiness.
