E3 Middle School is youth ministry just for middle school teens. E3 MS nights are held on the first Sunday evening of every month, October-May from 6:45 – 8:15pm. Led by the Middle School Youth Minister and the adult Core Team, E3 MS nights are based on the Edge model with time for games and socializing, large group speakers, and small groups where teens can talk about their faith with their peers and an adult Core Member. We encourage youth to attend 5:30 Sunday youth mass at Epiphany with their peers and family prior to E3.
The “E” of the Youth Ministry name refers primarily to our parish, the Church of the Epiphany, the history and identity of which forms us in community and continuously draws us deeper into the Universal Church. The number “3” refers to the three signs of the Epiphany: visit of the Magi, the Baptism of the Lord, and the Wedding Feast at Cana. Like these three signs of God’s power in the life of Christ, we want our youth to know the power of God in their own lives.
will include Extreme Faith Weekend (Nov. 30th-Dec. 2nd), 8th Grade Girls Group, Extreme Faith Camp (June 26th-June 30th), and Summer Stretch (Wednesdays in July and the first Wednesday of August).
No, Middle School Faith Formation occurs on Wednesday evenings and more information can be found on the Middle School Faith Formation page. E3 MS is for all middle school youth, regardless of whether or not they are in Faith Formation or attend Epiphany Catholic School. E3 MS seeks a relationship with God with the emphasis on sustaining, building, and reinforcing the solid foundation middle schoolers receive from middle school faith formation or Catholic school religion class. It is the desire of the parish for young people to attend E3 MS nights throughout all of middle school.
Absolutely! We would love for you to bring friends to all E3 MS nights and events.
