If you accept a position at the Church of the Epiphany, you will be asked to sit in on a live VIRTUS Training, perform a background check and credit check if you will be working with money, and also to sign a Pastoral Code of Conduct.  In some positions, a physical is required.

You are able to register for the training, get a background check and sign the code of conduct all online at  Here is a guide to help you with the process.  During this process you’ll watch a short video regarding the code of conduct and answer some questions for mandatory reporting.

High School Youth Minister

Schedule:      Full time 40 hours per week.  Benefit Eligible. Office hours are:  TBD with supervisor

Purpose:       To provide opportunities for youth in grades 9-12 to continue developing the spiritual, formational, and outreach aspects of their lives. To provide opportunities for teens to be more engaged in parish life through prayer and worship, community building, and outreach experiences. To continue developing the 7 components for Youth Ministry from “Renewing the Vision”. To coordinate the parish Confirmation program. To provide Young Adult Ministry.

Job Qualifications

B.A degree in theology/religious education or equivalency.
3 years full time parish experience at this level or equivalent.
Develop, implement, and evaluate youth ministry and catechetical programs.
Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers.
Computer literacy.
Demonstrated skills and ability to provide clear and accurate communication.
High level of organization.
Handle multiple demands of time and able to manage various projects at once.
Maintain confidentiality.
Collaborate and work well with staff, volunteers, teens, and parents.
Training in LifeTeen program (if possible).
Sense of humor.
