If you accept a position at the Church of the Epiphany, you will be asked to sit in on a live VIRTUS Training, perform a background check and credit check if you will be working with money, and also to sign a Pastoral Code of Conduct.  In some positions, a physical is required.

You are able to register for the training, get a background check and sign the code of conduct all online at  Here is a guide to help you with the process.  During this process you’ll watch a short video regarding the code of conduct and answer some questions for mandatory reporting.

Jobs at Epiphany

Inside/Outside Maintenance Custodian

Full Time, 40 hours, Monday – Friday. Base hours will be 12:00-8:30 p.m. but swing/fluid schedule as the needs of the parish determine. Benefit eligible.

Performs general maintenance, cleaning, setup and tear-down in parish and school.  Provides assistance to staff and visitors

Job Qualifications

  • Must have good interpersonal skills and familiarity with the Church as an organization. Must work effectively with and collaborate with the supervisor, Administrator, parishioners, parish staff, and parish committees/commissions
  • Is self motivated and willing to serve
    Must have experience with all maintenance techniques including plumbing, construction, hand and power tools etc.
  • Execute projects systematically
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products and equipment
  • Knowledge of the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
  • Read and understand labels and instructions, particularly on the use and application of cleaning chemicals and products
  • Work under little supervision
  • High School Diploma with training in maintenance of buildings. Additional education preferred.
  • Diocesan employment requirements must be met.

Kindergarten Teacher

  • Kindergarten Teacher who instructs all content subjects. This person should demonstrate the ability to make decisions, as well as, learn and implement “best practice” educational strategies especially in reading and math.
